No 5 is 'a family size', so maybe 7 pint stove is 'a tribe size' or 'a village size'. Truly that is 'The King of Stoves' as stamped of the tank.

Cast iron ring is always rare to get and that size makes is even more rare item. :-$

Hi @CaesarV , if it wasn't for that spirit cup I would have said 1950s straight away, certainly assuming that the cast iron trivet is original to the stove (given the plain stripped down decoration). On the other hand we know that the 'King of Stoves' logo came into use in the mid-1930s, so we know it can't be earlier than that. All of this appears to leave us with a fairly wide margin with, as you have discovered, relatively sparse catalogue information. All that said so many of the features, the filler cap, the look of the remaining original finish and the large decorative Arabic script markings, do still seem to point to somewhere in the '50s.
Coming from a different direction, as a point of apparently random information, this size of stove did not originally feature in the Sievert/Svea product range. What they offered was a big Svea No.2 (see here) which was 1/2 way between the Primus No.2 and 3s. This big '2', by then under the designation '202' was still available as late as the 1937 catalogue. This seems to pretty well rule out a pre-WW2 date for a 7 pint Svea 3. The question then is, when did Sievert drop their idiosyncratic big-'2'/'202' and bring there range into line with the Primus No's 2 & 3s sizings?

    hi lan.
I know you are an expert for svea stoves, I have read a lot of articles of yours.
I find this picture in 1957 catalog
1221175658-001.jpg IMG_20200204_110707.jpg I think this type of filler cap base(under-concave)appears after 1937 and before 1957.
my filler cap base is different from the 1957 style. so I think my svea 3 can't before 1937 but can't affter 1957.
you said the large decorative Arabic script marking, I think after the starburst sievert logo disappears, it leaves a large area of blank space, and then the Arabic script is filled.
so we still don't know what is 1940s style. is it right?
