Hi, this is my last rebuild. Everythings has been done. The story is the sellers of 59 years old of age doesn't remember when his father brought the stove home. For him the stove has always been there but he thinks his father brings the stove on his way back after the second world war. I am proud to have done the job on this one. The black paint is a 2000 degree and the bleu one is for engine. Before
@David L I went to Staples with a picture from the Gallery and dimensions I needed. Ask for top paper Good luck
Please remember that alcohol gravity fed stoves with steel wire (at the core of the filtering wick) is subject to rust when fuel is stored in the stove. David L
@Frankarooney I did used door gasket for stove, it is fiberglass and empty in the middle so easy to go through with a wire. However, I would like to have the flame a little bit higher so I will make one like the Original with the same gasket. Here what I have done so far. Will show the results when done. Thank
Update Here the new wick made like the Original and the flame show the results. Much better I have used a smaller brass wire so more alcohol can be evaporated. First and second `wick Result Also I have discovered that the left tube doesn't bring any alcohol down from the tank, it is just a support. Now I am happy with my results.
