Been a while since I've posted an old brassie. Picked this Primus 100 up a couple weeks ago now, I guess? About as barn fresh as you'd ever expect to find. Love the large roarer burner. FettleBox care package came in. Thanks Ross. YOU DA MAN!! So time to get the old guy burning. It's always cool to see an oldie fire up after who knows how long. As brought home. Marked T so 1929. Not in too bad of shape. Nice warm soapy bath to knock the big chunks off. That's slightly better. lol Swapped out the fuel cap gasket and pricked the jet. Left the NRV as it is holding, for now. Massaged the pump cup with Neatsfoot oil. Prime flame. Here we go. Green flames as the oxidation burns off. Doesn't last long so enjoy the show while it lasts. Warming up. Roasts pretty good. I like it! My new favorite. Alex
@The Warrior Cleaning and polishing aren't my strong points but yeah...I'll pretty it up a bit more to get it into the house and put it into the rotation. lol Alex
Good job Alexxxxxxx. Looking good. I had one old stove that took five minutes to stop burning green, enough time to run and get my camera. Duane
