Attaced photos of my first dark blue Fuhrmeister 8. Its a model 2 similar or exactly to the not so rare millitary model. I belive that the civilian model was delivered without the heater top, but you could get it as an option. I will let it have its patina, but I maybe should have replaced the maual under the lid. Where can I get that?
Now I am looking for a F8 model 1. You now the one with the wheel on left side, smaller tank and cooking plate not hinged.

Very nice. On my short list, but have decided they go for too much on the bay which is the only place I'll ever see a Fuhrmeister come up for sale.

Duane; You are right! They are expensive on ebay. It sems to be a lot of collectors and others who has it on their shortlist, but keep looking, one day..... Luckely for me,I live in the country where they are maid:D. Easier to hear about things;)

I'd be really happy with that one but like Duane, I'm on the other side of the world. Very nice. Thanks for posting.

I spent quite a bit on a nice 111D a few years ago, but my Campus stoves are just as neat as the Fuhrmeister stoves, so will try to be happy with them and my 111 collection.

You could bye it in Norway from 1947 to 1954. But Now it`s a little more difficult. But keep looking, they show up from time to time. The millitary-green one with wheel at right side shows up a lot moreO:)

You could bye this stove from 1954 and ut to early 60`just after E. Fuhrmeister, the founder of the factory died. Most of them are millitary green. They where used in the norwegian army. Those with other color as Dark and light blue as well as normal green and red was sold at the sivilian marked. The burner in those models was genial, named Fuhrmeister 11. It has its own cleansing needle. The heat top was only awaylible as extra. All the millitary green was delivered with this heating top

Tradera and ebay have both seen it and have no relevant information.

What Skauvill is telling you is that you need to keep an eye on those websites and wait until one shows up for sale.

Patience is the key word here...
