A stove I should have listed a long time ago, and I think the first time I've lit it since I acquired it. It's seen little use and there's a slight vapour leak at the riser seal, other than that a 00 doing what it should. All the bits. A nice tin that still had it's card wrapping Pack of.prickers The leg packet (?) Engraving, which is quite limited on this example. Up and running. The nipple needed some pricking to clear which may be the cause of the over rich burning, or it needs a longer burn to clear it's throat .Date I'm guessing as 60's at this point.
It looks like mine, which I ordered from Optimus USA in the early 80s. No telling how long it had been on a shelf, though. Nice stove! ....Arch
@ArchMc, my dating guess is only based on one I have from the early 70's which is in a plain red tin and much simpler accessories, I'm unsure if Optimus changed to a more elaborate offering post this time.
Hi @Simes Good-looking stove. Please will you provide photos of the lettering on the top of the burner and bottom of the fuel tank. Your Op.00 looks similar to this 1957 model I have: Optimus No.00L. Approx. 1957 Please compare features and tell us how they compare. Best Regards, Kerophile.
Hi @kerophile, will do, apologies for the delay, I'm still adjusting to home working. A previous owner I think had a problem at some point with a couple hints at someone who didn't know their way around the stove. The nipple is definitely worn as after clearing a blockage it's definitely running rich. It may be a candidate for a hypo fix as I've not done a standard .32 jet as yet. I'll try and get clearer images as the ones above were a little rushed. One thing I've yet to do is check the box printing for additional info, and although mostly complete the instructions, if supplied, have been lost.
My avatar is of course the 00, badged as a Primus 210, an aberrant designation I have always refused to recognize. I do have a couple of real 210s. But that dates mine, to be sure, though I do forget the chronology. My favorite and much-used 1-pinter.
Hi Ed, @Ed Winskill sorry my fat fingers spoiled a chance to chat Sat eve, I heard you mention our Pike Market meet with Gerry, sadly everyone had signed off before I figured out my mistake. I have a pair of 70's 00's as grab and go stoves which just seem to work whatever, it just feels wrong using anything else on long trips.

Apologies George, @kerophile I've been a bit busy looking for a Shinabro. The tank bottom and burner details are identical to yours in the link. The burner has both types of script and tank base has Upplands Vasby stamped. The cardboard box has 'Travelling No. 00' printed, with the 'L' hand written as usual. Puts the stove in the late 50's early 60's era.
