Got my Kampkook in today, plus this one, the Meva 444. My first gravity feed stove. Taking awful photos today. Hand is shaky for whatever reason. Meva 444: Looks to be a February 1959 model: Priming. Note to self. Make sure the knob is in the off position before filling with alcohol: Knob: Blurry, but you get the idea: Yet another bad photo. I had no idea these stoves were this small: Vid: Although it seems to seal well, I'm sure it needs a new seal. Also, a new wick. Thanks for looking.
Nice one, I really like these stoves for making coffee indoors. But I don't have a Meva, only Turm stoves. But mine doesn't have a wick. Ciao, Bastian
Seven minutes to boil a cup of water. And that's just a slight boil. I think if I tweak it a bit, it should do better than that:
The wife was away all day yesterday when my stoves came in the mail. I had a feeling she would want this one, and she did, haha. Not gonna happen.
