Hey guys, I recently purchased a 425E and have finally got it cleaned and working. The only problem that I've encountered is a significantly weaker flame on my auxiliary burner. Seems the problem is there are only 2 pairs of burner rings instead of the original 3 and they are slightly pancaked. Does anyone know where I can get just 1 ring and 1 spacer for the auxiliary burner? I hate to have to buy a whole new burner.
I'll check next time I'm out in the shop. Feel free to remind me in a couple days if I haven't gotten to it or remembered.

Yeah I saw that full burner replacement and would rather just find a ring and spacer if possible. No need for the full replacement, i figure leave that for someone who actually needs the whole thing.
Be aware that 425s usually have a weaker secondary burner. You need a 413 to get a second powerful burner. Brad
Do you think the lack of a ring and spacer can contribute to an even weaker flame? Mine is pretty bad.
Pretty dang clean but im gonna put a pipe cleaner through it tonight when I get off work. I know spider webs laugh at compressed air Being a machinist i can make a spacer if need be. But the corrugated burner ring wouldn't be worth the effort plus the 2 on there are slightly pancaked.
Some people have tried different numbers of spacers and rings. I have to believe Coleman engineers tried many different combinations with their stoves. I would make it the original number, personally. The 425 stoves have a weaker secondary, but it should much stronger than a simmer. However, it is not as hot as the primary.
I'm in complete agreement about needing the extra ring and spacer as it was engineered that way. I just can't bring myself to may 8.00 plus shipping for an entire auxiliary burner assembly when all I need is .50 cents worth of parts.
@Marc said he was looking for the part. Let him have some time to sort that out. I have a hard time paying for parts on a 10 dollar stove.
Embarrassed to admit I honestly just plain forgot yesterday. Spent a couple hours out in the shop and checking upstairs for parts never once occurred to me until I was back in the house, showered, and more ready for bed than a trek across the yard. There's a reason I asked for a reminder. I need to do that, I owe someone else parts as well.
Please don't dont think I'm in any rush or hurry. I was merely replying to others comments. You guys are immensely helpful and there is a wealth of knowledge here.
I find that I turn the stove down a bit when only using the main burner, and up to use both. I tap the generator after it gets hot to help clear the 'pipe'. Cool to see the orange sparks of dislodged material.
Only stove I had left with burner rings was a 425. The auxiliary burner was smaller. Which size do you need? Stacked here for illustration.
Marc, you are the man!! The auxiliary burner is what I am needing. Thank you immensely. Kind of hard to believe you can't buy just the rings. Shoot me an email, and I can get you my address and such . Again, thank you sir. claybirdd@yahoo.com
