I recently won an optimus 96 on ebay. The stove is in great shape and lit right up. I noticed that the lead washer at the base of the vaporizer is missing. The stove did not seem to leak. Can a replacement be fashoned from stuff from the hardware store?
I made one last week from some lead "flashing" - that's lead sheet about 2mm (bit more that a sixteenth) thick. - seems to work fine.
