As promised here Unknown Oremus stove some better photos from my newly aquired but still unknown Oremus stove. I think it has not really been used, maybe a few times. It is a discus stove with a lipstic burner with flame plate and silent burner cap. One special thing for kerosene stoves is the safety release valve in the tank lid. As it is mentioned the instructions (which you have to read two times: 'Bitte noch einmal lesen!' ) it also can be used with almost all kinds of car fuel. The stove is from good quality, but I have seen much better german stoves; the flame plate is not trimmed, also the pump shaft lid, the spanner is made from thin material and the tin is only painted green, no nice paintings. The tank bottom is stamped with 'Made in germany', on tank surface you only find the word 'OREMUS' in large striped letters. No number. I'm not sure how long the brand Oremus existed, but I assume that is a very late stove made under this label. Maybe someone can help with the factory history or that special stove? Ciao, Bastian
Hi, I have this same Oremus stove but without tin and instructions. I always thought that was a kero stove, but I can see it says benzin on the leaflet. I considered it like a primus 100. Did you try it with kero? The air release doesn’t match much with benzine. Nicola
