Introducing the old lux patent no:1/ patent no:1A. It was restored two years ago. There are several groups in Korea and stoves, This restores the skill of Mr "PANA" false prophets and guides.
What a lovely burner. Must take the prize for most unusual burner. Pity about the stress cracks in photo 2
Ah, the genuine Lux burner. Nice! That is a rare sight, and with the cleaning needle in complete order too by the looks of your photos, which are even rarer.
G,,day . very different and the jet pricker is fascinating , more moving pieces and more complex than any thing I have ever seen on a brassy , lovely !!!!!!!! cheers, kerry
Yes Kerry. Those jet pricker mechanisms of Lux are fascinating. Lux just simply took the pricker mechanism from their lamps and used on the stoves. Unfortunately I haven't found any stove with this yet, but have several lamps. You can see how this mechanism moves in this Youtube clip I made some years ago. Firstly it swings in a a sort of horizontal bow to engage the jet. Once it make contact with it, it transforms to a straight, vertical movement.
Hi Mr multi-cho What a wonderful stove and great photos. I have have never seen one of these models before. So many unique features and a beautiful flame pattern. Thank you for posting, and good luck with your stoves and collecting. Best Regards, Kerophile.
There are several of this stove and burner posted here before. Arne Åsgård has even posted a nice, detailed catalogue illustration of the burner, as seen here:
Christer . thanks for that link . it explains it so much clearer than words ever could very ingenious indeed . and , welcome to the forum multi-cho . I hope you like the place and enjoy it . cheers, kerry
That sweet moment when you realize how many amazing wonders are in the world, that you do not know yet. Thank you!
Greetings, @multi-cho , What a wonderful stove! I think that the Lux stoves are amongst the best ever made, and this one has to be the King of them all!!! I love the burner, and the cleaning pin apparatus!! Brilliant designs, if a bit complicated. Still, amazing stuff, all around, and thank you, very much, for sharing it with us!!
