Introducing the old lux patent no:1/ patent no:1A.
It was restored two years ago.

There are several groups in Korea and stoves,
This restores the skill of Mr "PANA" false prophets and guides.

What a lovely burner. Must take the prize for most unusual burner. Pity about the stress cracks in photo 2

Ah, the genuine Lux burner. Nice!
That is a rare sight, and with the cleaning needle in complete order too by the looks of your photos, which are even rarer.

Yes Kerry. Those jet pricker mechanisms of Lux are fascinating.
Lux just simply took the pricker mechanism from their lamps and used on the stoves.
Unfortunately I haven't found any stove with this yet, but have several lamps.
You can see how this mechanism moves in this Youtube clip I made some years ago.
Firstly it swings in a a sort of horizontal bow to engage the jet. Once it make contact with it, it transforms to a straight, vertical movement.

There are several of this stove and burner posted here before.
Arne Åsgård has even posted a nice, detailed catalogue illustration of the burner, as seen here:

The brass version unfortunately has cracks.
So I see the flame in the chrome version.
