    This month it's a contest featuring the 'one-pinters' eg the Optimus 00, Primus 210 etc etc.

    Post your nomination as a reply to this post.

    The rules.

    • Stove must feature in the Stove Reference Gallery (SRG) with a link posted in the entry. So now's the time to get those stoves photographed & posted! If it's been listed for years already that is ok too.
    • Maximum of 2 pictures in the entry. The pictures must show the stove working & in it's entirety. More pictures can of course be shown in a linked SRG entry - as many as you want!
    • Previous winning entries are excluded.
    • Stove must be presently owned by the member.
    • One entry per member.
    This nominations post will be open for the month of August. At the end of the month (midnight BST) the post will be closed & the qualifying stoves placed in a blind poll for members to vote for. The poll will remain open for 1 week. Most votes is the winner.

    The winner will get a SotM Winner notation on their posts & profile & a £10 voucher code from The Fettlebox. The winning stove will also be entered into the Stove of the Year vote the following January.

    Good luck & have fun

    @Spiritburner Ross, I thought the 00 and 210 were 1-pinters? ;)

    Our very first Optimus 00.

    Sweet Bride and I bought this stove to use on the PCT, back in the very snowy year of 1991, but had problems (our own fault) priming it on the trail. Now, we would do MUCH better than we did back then! Note the "abbreviated" wrench, with holes drilled in it, to lighten our load. It worked, actually.

    This is a wonderful stove, and works a treat, IF the owner knows what he's about..........!

    Thanks for checking it out, and best of luck to all who have entered this month's SOTM contest! All entries look GREAT! Take care, and God Bless!

    Every Good Wish,
    Doc

    This stove is featured in the Reference Gallery here. I replaced the burner washer and put a little sperm oil on the pump leather so I could get the required flame shot today. Otherwise it's in as found condition. No stove polishing.
