Baking on the Optimus 81

    Been wanting to do this outside, but the weather has been frightful.... this is an Optimus Mini-Oven on top of my 81 Alcohol stove, a great combo......a spice cake mix with most of a bottle of Sprite, and cherry pie mix in the oven before the cake mix . Dang good stuff. Took almost 30 minutes.

    That does look good!

    I looked for months to find a wonder pot and finally did out of Italy, so got two. One was for a friend. The ones I got are much taller than your Optimus or an Omnia, but I think the Omnia is an awfully steep price for a piece of aluminum. I believe the Optimus is long out of production. These ovens really do a nice job. I just need to remember to keep the heat down.
