This Meva 2140 came to me repainted. However, the paint couldn't take the heat and burned off at first go.

The control key and wrench came with a leather holder that works well and seems original to the piece.

The wrench not only fits the flame control lever but also the fuel cap and both burner nuts.

The stove also came with this small funnel for fueling.

The flame is controlled by the lever. When the lever is furthest clockwise the flame is extinguished.
Moving the lever counter clockwise increased the flame. This photo shows a nice simmer.

This one is with the throttle wide open.

That's an interesting stove. I like the leather key holder: less burnt fingers.

They are nice going stoves - Only a very few has that horisontal regulator - only other that springs to my mind is the M1942 “Wheelie” and the French Selus.

That additional key is a very good idea to use - as the lever on the stove gets VERY hot (ask me how I know - used my point fingertip twice to shut it of after a brew ](*,)
I’ve never seen that leather cover before, but it makes good sense!

Yours seems to be missing the small flame ring on top of the burner bell. (seen here)

I tested the stove a bit with/without that flame ring. With it - it seems to concentrate the flame to a small “spot”, making the stove very little wind-sensitive. Without it - better flame-dispersion for a pan or a small pot simmering.

I also like how the three pot supports lock in place.
Congrats Ben - Its a nice little powerhouse for a backpack trip.

It is not sweet as look like..
Primo - horisontal wrench is not for use with pot on the stove.
To regulate typical move is catch with left hand case
Then will be two hands below pot with boiling water.
Secundo - i do not knows Yours examples
BUT MANY and my - are too hot to hold it in hand
Most pictures showing partialy burned tin

@gieorgijewski All very valid points you make. The burned paint is due to the missing flame ring @Harder D. Soerensen pointed out and the non-heat resistant re-paint.

Adjusting the flame under a pot of boiling water might be a bit dangerous but it's a nice feature if you're boiling the water to make rice. Once it reaches a good boil you can throttle the flame down and let it simmer for 20 min. until the rice is done.

I can say "tis guy is o.k. but wear too narrow pants"...
For use power need to be decreased or tin need to be bigger.
Because it is powered on autofuel reaction for decrease / shut off must be realised at once. For this stove heat resistant gloves are needed.

This is the pic she used on FB. I asked her about it...then she told me it came from a Chekoslovakian website and she was just using it for reference....

I rarely trust a seller, when he/she is using other ppl. pics.
(You can use GOOGLE “search image” to scan the internet for matching pics).
