I found the meaning in 1929 french catalogue
SE means "Socle Emaillé" for enameled stand
SB means "Socle Brut" for non enameled stand or...

He own 3 54M stoves : 1928,1929 and 1934
therefore 1934 is the last produced........ for the moment

I have asked to several owners on this site, to tell me the production year of the stoves they own.
I also asked to a friend who own 2 or 3 n° 54...
but pay attention this double stand is not Primus but JOLP
