Thanks for that Terry, I did look but obviously not that hard
Looks a similar burner to a 111
I think that's AL
Mmm it's the No 12 that I need info on. Exploded drawing and parts list would be good.
A friend of mine has just bought an army No12 stove to complement the Land Rover ambulance that he is converting to a camper. I've heard nothing...
Got to be the Optimus 111 in my mind. With a roarer burner so you can hear that it's still going when you turn it down low
Yep 8R clone, I'm sure you could get a real 8R for that sort of money. Don't know if the parts are interchangeable. All depends what you want it...
I use a viton 'O' ring with no problem at all.
It's spread a very very little bit, when it gets too big I'll replace it.
Yep, done that as well
What about arseing about with the compressed air. winding up a ball race until it starts to scream then...
You and me both, clip in the ear as well I wouldn't wonder.
Never ever, ever, ever, strike 2 hammers together. The faces are hardened, unless you buy them from Aldi that is, and you could get shards...
That souldn't make any difference, I've used kero that's around 25 years old and didn't notice any difference between that and fresh.
Spot on Rik
Even if it's brand new in a box. It's not a stove unless you light it.
What he said
I have a lady at home that does that for me
Don't make excuses
You still did it, naughty boy.
As I said that would have earned me a good clip around the ear as an apprentice.
Never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever leave a chuck key in a chuck, for what ever reason.
Even if your using it to turn the chuck.
If she's like my kids she'll be around when she want's something
What he said :?: :?: :-k :-k
What colour is it? Baby nappy (diaper) green
