Ally can liners need a responsible adult, ummmmm not one here so do I ask the grand kids to do it ! ???????? My kids are adults now so no good there either. Seriously a good idea, but ordinary ally foil is good to with the advantage of being able to throw it away when covered with crud.

    Cheers

The quilted can left the case of my 8R in a sad state. So this is what I use these days: Aluminium meat/veggie trays.
My P41 needed one, so it's the demo.
Using a paper cutter and the Mrs' scrapbooking tools makes this a pleasant project.
The 8R's are wearing similar tray liners. 4 & 3/8" (111mm) square for 8R's. Corner punched. You can store a second liner with the first and have an auxiliary windshield for when you need it.

So...if I understand everything right (and i HOPE I DO!)...you would, for best effect, need a new plate for EVERY time you light up the 111?

Oh, you're being funny. I was about to respond, "Goodness, no!", but that reply would keep you thirsty.
