The 99R is made for gasoline (CF) and it is self pressurized with a wick in the pickup tube and do not need a pump and it has a SRV (safety release valve). The 111 family including the 111B is pressurized by a pump and basically intended for kerosene (except 111B that is made for gasoline with a different burner) and do not have a wick in the pickup tube but a SRV. The problem is the NRV (non return valve) in the pump tube. If it fail, gasoline will press out in the pump tube. Michael
Michael, brings back memories seeking out a butcher to get 100 percent cotton twine when I replaced the wick on one of my 99r's. OK, so now I know the 111T has no wick Nor does the 111B, so thanks for that information. Crazy what I don't know about these stoves
