Hi, here are some photos of an early Radius No.5S:or. I acquired this particular stove from Deal in Kent in 2004, but I was cleaning it up today: The Radius pan-ring is interesting. It is fabricated from sheet steel but you can see how it has been influenced by earlier cast-iron pan-ring design. Radius moved to the more conventional, simpler design of pressed-steel pan-ring in later years. The final photograph shows this Radius No.5S:or alongside my Radius No.1C. The tanks of the two stoves are almost idential, suggesting thet they are near-contemporaries. Best Regards, Kerophile.
Nice one George! How does it perform? What strikes me with the Swedish stoves, they all claim to be "the best", "the original" or what have you. Ah well, I suppose they all were top quality and afaik these were invented in Sweden after all! Regards, Wim
