This is a Primus 341 Sp kept as a sealed pattern specimen preserved at a Swedish Armed Forces unit. It is stamped “AJ8” (1945). It should be noted that the chrome, t-shaped “key” in some of the photos has probably ended up in the case by mistake. When examined that thing do not fit anything on the Primus 341 Sp (or on anything else stove-related that I know of).

I have posted some more information on this military Primus 341 Sp here: Liquid fuelled stoves of the Swedish Armed Forces

Well, it’s a privilege to be trusted to handle museum pieces, but it’s tough to put it into the cabinet again. I think I would be able to give it a loving home...

Great stove and a wonderful post in so much detail. Do the people at the museum ever ask about your interest in stoves?

    Beautiful! It's a fantastic piece.

Stefan, aren't you a little bit tempted to fire it up?!?
