I picked up this B50 marked stove along with the interesting stand. No history on the stand, but constructed very well.

    Interesting indeed.
I do not have an explanation we can rely on but a noteworthy comment I think.
    Your "stand" is 1 burner.
It has striking resemblance to the Coleman 2 burner Marine stoves.
    an example
Of note there are differences with the stand and the marine stoves are larger.
For now I just point out Coleman Marine stoves as comparable.

In addition to appearance, the "2 burners" are TWO 1 burner stoves.
Given that, it's plausible a 1 burner version was also considered / offered at some point?
It would have to accommodate the larger marine stove... I can only wonder if larger marine stove would be a good fit in your stand?

Further confirmation re your stand if ever, may come in 2 hrs or 2 years.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful Coleman!

Very nice, looks to have great nickel to boot. That will be the center of attention when you cook with that thing. The 500 has a large grate , but this guy even made it bigger. Your windscreen / crowd cooker may have made in one of your many aircraft plants you have up your way? I am wishing the guy that made that would have made large, medium and small and sold them.
Grandson fired mine up and had grilled cheese and also made some sautéed squash in 12 inch skillet during there visit. Daryl sunny SoCal
