    Hi all,

I present This Azuréa stove designed for: Direction centrale du commissariat de l'air.
    For armed conflict in Algeria.
I was produced in 1956 for the French air force officer squadron.
This one has never used the set is complete with spares parts paper spirit can etc....

The seller give me information on the story of this cook who remained locked 63 years
in a wooden case in a hangar of a familly pilot.

    Azuréa is a tradmark.
At the beginnings of the last century the familly F Vulin Inc establishments in Feurs near Lyon.

Then the establishments Veuve F Vulin Inc.

    Then "Azuréa"
Directors René Vulin & Jean Verdier civil engineer & mines (invoice of 1934).

In 1950 (invoice) the factory is located 2, rue de Lyon under the same:
Azuréa company anonyme with the capital: 3.900.000 Fr.

In the 1950 it essentially manufactures gas stove and coal for houshold.

In 1954 it employs more than 400 peoples (document of resurrection of the industries of the cities
around Lyon dating from 1968 this same document indicates: the closure of Azuréa factory make
disappear more than 400 jobs, without giving a closing date).

We have very can of informations on this one.

    Thank for sharing.

    Best regards,
    Patrick.

    Thank for your interest.

I think serie Model 502 enamel green lagoon.
With two basic burner stamped Asurea.
    Weigt set over 15 Kg.

Indeed it is a dark period in the history of France.
This war still brings tensions today with unresolved problems for people who lived nightmare.
For many France has forgotten them humanly and financially.

It's most dramatic in the case of our "Harkis":Harki — Wikipédia

Thanks for sharing your exceptional stove. Being preserved in new condition for all that time is amazing. I'll have to read up on the Algerian war.
