    Congrats.
    425E 1967-72
(fwiw "Late production: Date stamped fuel tank tabs and on bottom of case").
It's gold bond so much more rare (sought-after) vs 1972 green 425E
    The trays are sought-after items.

You've done minimum, photo document the NOS condition :thumbup: (before a virgin might be violated).
Photo document (dated) instructions and original box as well.
I'm clear myself, given situ i would offer it for sale to collector who does seek out NOS examples.

You made a point clear (your decision less so) w/your "What's the point?" of having lamps & stoves that you will not use.
I agree with you "Wow, that is nice! ...Wow, that's awesome, that is a beautiful beautiful stove" <--worth noting, your words, your reaction, multiple times... well, that cool-factor is gone after you light it and it becomes another (clean but) singed user.
If i had to pick a side, i side with keeping users (hence i sell off NOS).
To be clear, given situ, i would not light this pristine example. I would allow someone else to preserve it, i do expect there are collectors that would want to do so.
    THANK YOU for posting.

also fwiw As online reference .jpg pics are a well established format. NOS are the best reference gallery entries and thanks again, much appreciated, that is sweeet!

    Nice.

Why buy NOS Unfired if you just want another user? Trade for a used stove.
    Just my view.

@OMC , Thanks for the logical response........ But.....The temptation factor is sooo strong.
currently undecided on lighting it but I value your response sir.

@snwcmpr , I have "user" stoves...... But isn't there some merit to using it for its purpose ?

I never found the merit in just lighting it to light it. That's just me. There are rare stoves, and there are not so rare stoves.
This site is more about the anomaly, not the mundane.

My post was a question to you.
