Just got this stove hoping I can use it for cooking on my 4-wheeling trips with my 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon Hard Rock Ed. Seems perfect size to use on a fold down shelf attached to the inside of the tail gate when opened.

I don’t know what kind of fuel this uses or if it can be converted to use something convenient like propane. The brass plaque, which also holds the drip tray in place, and cast iron grate both are marked Willis, the latter with raised letters in the middle of the cast iron grate near the front. I have not cleaned it completely, just wiped off some dust. Missing front rail. The silver metal seems to be nickel plated brass. The corners are soldered. Tubing is brass. The nickel plating should polish up as will the brass. Not sure what to do about what looks like large rust spots on the drip tray. Not sure what caused them since the rest of the enamel around them looks perfect as does the stove underneath the tray. Please help as I am new to these stoves but hope to use this one soon. Might try oven cleaner on the rust spots.

The company is still around - maybe they could answer the questions.
