    Very nice stove...

    I sold a couple of those 501’s this past summer,,, neither were anywhere near as nice as yours...

    Very nice stove as long as you dont light it. There is a reason none of them look heavily used

    Yes discontinued, recalled, and replaced right away due to overheating and design flaws. 501A solved overheating issue but, not design flaw and was also recalled and discontinued. When you sent a 501 or 501A in for repair they sent you back a 502.

    Very nice example, curious is the aluminum ring stamped 501 on one side like the 502 and 508's are? thanks in advance

    No, lighting lever and coleman on opposite sides
    Model is stamped on the bottom
