I'm sure this has been asked. But at the current e-bay prices of 199s is it crazy to even think of converting a 99 to a 199. For the slap-dash layman (me) who thinks $550 for a stove is just a hair much, and whose better-half is afraid of Coleman anything (bad family experience I surmise), and who looks at a 199 and says to self 'why Optimus simply put the 111T burner on the 8r/99 tank'..... Yes the better-half feels white-gas can explode. She feels that kerosene is a much safer fuel, and we both saw this- PRIMUS STOVE SILENT BURNER KEROSENE STOVE PARAFFIN STOVE | eBay Which begs the question can it be done? OK, if it is possible, then do you think some e-bay seller has done it but says it is a 199 original (I don't see how since 199 stickers or even 99 stickers seem to be non existant. Maybe it is not just an 8r tank+111T burner? That other things are different that I don't see or understand. Please share the details if you can.
