This is one of the better stoves, that I have got from the States. Incredibly heavy, weighs in at about 23lbs. The seller ( who has since become a CCS member ) and I thought it may have been a military stove, but another CCS member, thinks it is a nobs ( as posh ) stove. Whatever it is, it is an absolute gem.
Unbelievable! I love it! I've been trying to acquire one of these for quite a long time. They become available every once in a very long time. Nice catch!!!! sam
I say, very posh indeed sir! Looks very handy, with build-in "high stand", no need to carry a separate table along. A very lucky find indeed! Best regards, Wim
Hi iani what a superb example you have a rare and extremly well buit and engineered stove i much prefer the style and build quality over the modern day eqiverlant
Hi Paul Terry Marsh's site reckons on the 1920's. http://tgmarsh.faculty.noctrl.edu/lantern/stoveip.htm Sam You'll get one, one day. Thanks everyone for your comments.
Very nice: I have never seen one except on paper. U.S. stoves of this period have been my passion for over 40 yrs., a rare find indeed. Mike
Hi Mike Its only one of 4 that I know of, and perhaps the only one over here in the UK. Hi Sparky It pressurises with a hand pump. Best Ian
