'Action Man' Primus camp stove, late 1970s

    Can't believe no-one has thought to post one of these before. Clearly a great piece of 'Paraffinalia', even though not a patch on the gold-plated Condrup presentation miniature that Ross was once privileged to see (q.v.). And finally, before the purists and rivet counters go into apoplexy, I'd better make sure to point out that this is an example of the Mk.2 model which had a modified burner head to distinguish it from the original c.1970 offeringO:)

    Yes, and yours is the earlier version, from late'60s/early'70s, like this one:
    Action Man  Primus V.1 a.jpg Action Man  Primus V.1 b.jpg (Flat top fully red painted.)

    But I'd never seen a full set including the period mountain tent! Marvellous - a whole new world of collecting beckons[-X
