Long time ago a hardware store in Sweden made this advertise.

Prices in SEK - exchange rates historically used to be about 5 SEK for 1 USD.

That hardware store (Eskilstunaboden) was located in the town closest to me - Uddevalla - and it started in 1903. And the owner in the ad - Edvard Schlaug - sold it in 1919.
The 501 is claimed to be a novelty in the catalogue from 1905, so definately between 1905 and 1919.

I would assume somewhere around 1910. 1908 as Georgiewski suggest from those sales numbers is plausible. The figures there is 200.000 for that particular year. The total sum up to then from the start may be close to claimed 2.000.000 stoves, but a very brief try to add all those bars give me a lower number; perhaps around 1.600.000, or slightly more.
But adding also the white bars, which I assume is for other apparatus than stoves, give us a number close to 2.000.000 in 1908

The graph below gives us the number of any kind of apparatus produced, and there it really do say 2.000.000 in 1908, so most likely the total sum also in the other graph actually do sum up to that in 1908 when both white and shadowed bars are counted (all apparatus).

However, this ad refers to the stove production as being 2.000.000 sold at the date in question. But you can never trust an ad fully. They might be using the "all apparatus"-figures just to make a larger amount.
If they actually are correct in the ad, and just meaning stoves, we probably end up in 1910.
    Otherwise 1908, so let's say 1908-10
