AGM KampKook Model No 77 with Stand. This stove is in as-received condition (dirty) but in excellent condition. It is quite heavy and even heavier with the surprise content. Upon opening the lid a curious box was found inside along with the unusual red fuel tank and burners. To my happy surprise I found a stainless steel stove stand that was made by AGM and for this stove. It has to be original for this stove since the feet of this stove fit the stand perfectly. So cool!!! Everything appears to be there. I'll post some pictures of the stove fired up after I've done a little clean up and fettle. What was really interesting is what also came with the stove. A July 15, 1957 edition of the Christian Science Monitor with a picture of Nikita Krushchev on the front page. It is quite possible this newspaper was stuffed into the stove and not opened since around that time. At least that's what I want to believe! Here are the instructions that came with the stove: AGM KampKook No. 11, 77, 88, and 99 sam
wow! even more impressive is that you were allowed to set that up on the nice carpet! nice stove! and getting the companion stand is a definite bonus... can hardly wait until we get to see it in action!
I agree with Linux Sam, can't wait to see that fired up! That has got to be heavy. I just love the older stoves. Nothing like using them in the great outdoors to make you forget about all the world's current crap.
Sam, I just posted pics of my Sears and Roebuck KookRite 2-burner stove. It has the same box and grill but the fuel tank is green and has an external pump. I hope to fire it up this week end. Enjoy!
