Would anyone be interested in a stove meet in Glenfinnan, west of Fort William, Scotland? I was thinking mid April as the weather then can be good but with luck the midges haven't become a problem yet.

Apart from the meet itself, there's tons of stuff to do here and places to stay.

Interested? Absolutely. (Enthusiastic, even.) Unfortunately, ability to attend might be a bit problematic.

Sounds good! But, distance is a slight problem...

It is a very long drive for anyone in England, even to me in north-east England.
    But, if my diary is free . . . . . .

I will sort out some potential dates, scope out locations, accommodation options and a 'things to do' list so people have a better idea of what they'd be in for.

It would be a haul for anyone from the South of England, but doable from the North. It's a great shame there are no ferries between Scotland and Norway/Sweden!

It's a 400 mile round trip but more than do-able! (Easier than the 1100 mile round trip to Newark that I've just not been able to manage as yet.... :-({|=)
I'll see how shifts/work is fixed closer to the time but interested, yes.
