Congrats Ben. That was one of the 2 I had trouble deciding. Not a close horse race though.

    Well deserved that one.

And someone managed to spoil my efforts to get no votes in every competition. I'm hoping my new stove arrives in time to post in May's. :) If not it'll be a random buy somewhere, possibly Newark Argos.

Good one Ben, that was my vote also, I knew it was the best, but it was a difficult choice as they were all great.

    Cheers

Excellent and fair results. Well done, Ben!

Your stove was my second choice. I voted for the Swedish Army kit, but I must admit that it was mainly for nostalgic reasons. It could be our best friend cold and hungry days in the field when we did our military service. A hot meal could make the day.
Your stove, Ben, was the obvious winner in reality, personal feelings put aside, so truly a worthy winner.

The winner is the one slightly outstanding in a narrow competition - special design and superb condition - it was my favourite despite I voted for my own stove just to make sure it got at least one vote...

I chose to show my most battered military stove as it is the most "field realistic" in the first line units where it was used frequently during military training - some of the support units just used it 3 or 4 times in a year before their military service ended.
