An Optimus 96 has just entered my collection of stoves and I've displayed it here with my Optimus 00 and 5 (the 5 has a Primus windshield). The 5 is looking a bit out of place with it's fixed legs and silent burner, I am starting to think that the family needs an Optimus 45 (better still a 47(?) with optional burners).......

I'll post a full article on the 96; it appears to be a second generation / 1930's model and has the letter L on the base of the tank (I wonder if Optimus tried for a while to date stamp their stoves like Primus).

Yes, a 45 definitely needed in that lineup.
