I want to pass on my thanks to Ross (@Spiritburner) for the effort to move the site over to its new host.

I gather it wasn't a straightforward manoeuvre, and a significant glitch inserted itself in the whole process.

It's great to see the site up and running. I'm sure there will still be some bumpy bits, but we should all be patient for a while.

I hope Ross enjoys his break!

    Much thanks to him.

    Best regards

    Tony

I'd just strayed over to CCF get a fix of liquid fuelled devices.

    Hi,

I was gone for several weeks, taking care of some long ignored "to do list" items, and came back yesterday to no CCS, CPL or Fettle Box. Worried about the events going on in the UK right now and whether they'd created a need for some Internet "blackout" security measures, I checked in with Doc Mark this morning and he alerted me to the server change.

And here we are just a short time later, back again. Thank you to Ross and all of you involved with keeping things going! And to Doc Mark for reminding me patience is a virtue... ;)

Just found out it was a server change, and I thought it was just a dickey me. I should have known of the change over, my bad.
So it's a well done Ross and it looks good.

    Cheers
    Rob

Ross, Mods, and IT Team: OUTSTANDING!!! Many thanks for not throwing in the towel when things went South, and everything looks bleak!!!! Again, very well done, for getting CCS back up and running again!!! Proud of you all, and grateful for the hard work, sweat, and maybe a few tears, that were shed whilst working on this!! Take care, and God Bless!

    Every Good Wish,
    Doc

Blimey, I called, I tested, I went and emailed people, I fretted and wondered. Whew! It's a heck of a resource to have it come unstuck ....
Well done all. I have no idea what's involved, do not understand the process, but keenly feel the effects!
    Regards,
    Rob

Like most things in life, you don't realize what you've got till it's gone. Glad the site is up and running again. Thanks to Ross, the Mods. and everyone else who got things back to normal. Jim
