This is yet another variant.
Brilliant variant and addition iani, I really like the plated models.
Looking at the pics the plating looks in superb condition.
I can not believe when I first started collecting lamps and stoves, I used to turn my nose up at anything that was plated, and they use to sell for next to nothing at boot sales 20 years ago, how I could kick myself.
Looks like it left the factory yesterday!
"Plated ... Looks like it left the factory yesterday ... Spectacular"
Go on, tell them Ian, it's the boiling in a citric acid bath then getting to work with the Solvol Autosol!
Ian, did you dig up a treasure-trove of stoves in your garden?
Yet another wonderful stove.
I lovvvvvvve the shiny ones!
I am never sure if they are nickel plated, chromium plated or something else - but whatever, they are great. Always gleaming with just the wipe of a cloth.
Nice stove and engraving.
I also like the chromed stoves, not the nickel ones as they are difficult to polish
Even BD is unsure whether they are Nickel or Chrome.
That good old paint stripper from Wickes, works a treat on Chrome/Nickel.
I have got a fairy that brings them to me. His name is Dave.
