    OMG. Help! - I've officially become a gassie 8-[ .

From my local tip/dump. £2.50 including nine C206 butane cartridges. Piezo ingnition which fired on the first click using the fitted 10th cartridge.

The very tatty and incomplete instructions are dated 5/89 "Made in France".

A pity that they chose to use a plastic cover instead of a metal one which could have doubled as a cooking pot.

    Very nice Terry,
The plastic cover is no great surprise given the conical one they used on some of the original bleuets but I agree it would have been nice to have a pot that could at least have been used to make a cuppa.
BTW, I'm glad to see your distaste for gassies is not as entrenched as Mr Shouksmith's disdain for 246Bs
    Regards
    John

Welcome to the Dark Side, Skywalker - well, dark if you get hold of a gassie lantern too and don't have a spare cart along when the one installed runs out.

    It's a stove. 'Nuff said.

I've got a slew of gassies six or seven brands all using the 96g piercing canister. The canisters are blessedly available locally after a ten or fifteen year hiatus. I pick up a few every time I'm near a Big5 store.

I've become a gassie, too. Simethicone helps but maybe probiotics would be better.

think yoghurt or if you prefer rotten milk but rotten in a special way. The bacteria in there is meant to be good for you and reduce the damage by "bad" bacteria
I found out what yoghurt was about 50 years ago and havnt really eaten it much ever since

Hello, I have one of these Campingaz Instaflam stoves but I need the Base as arrowed in the image. Any chance you may be able to help source one?

Thanks for your attention, best regards Giorgio.

Anybody know where I can get a new jet for the Instaflam Piezo. It's a 900 size.

Hey Trojandog, how do you replace the gas cylinder. I have the same model burner and I need to replace the cylinder.

Sorry Glen, I gave it away a few years ago, but I'm pretty sure the canisters are self-piercing.
