Thanks to @MrAlexxx I have myself an optimus campingo stove. Been wanting a kerosene two burner for a few years. So when Alex offered this one I had to have it. Burning with yellow flame tips. Will have to do some cleaning on the burners. Otherwise she is good to go!!!
@cooter303 Fine stove. Blue flames to find, for sure. Hint of blue there, may just burn off to blue-up.
When It warms up here next week, I will fire it up and let it burn for awhile. Try heating up some lead to cast some bullets!!!
@cooter303 These are great stoves. BTW they run on Kerosene or white gas without a jet change. That was a big selling point when they came to market.
Very nice. I would run it with clean, high quality, kerosene for a while before changing anything. Maybe inspect the jets. I quit using gas in these NRV stoves. Just my preference. Ken
I wont be running white gas in it. Kerosene only. Got a coleman for the white gas. looking forward to cooking some good meals on it this summer when camping.
