I bought this many years ago and never photographed or posted it. It came from a town near Chamonix, France. Can’t help but wonder the adventures it saw in its day. Similar to an early Primus 70 with no SRV, “tank pin” and it’s tiny fuel cap. Sounds like a SVEA123 with its flutter but about half as loud. Cheers, Jerry

Nice stove Jerry. I see you live in Santa Cruz right up the coast from me. Thanks for taking the time to post it. I really need to get after photographing and posting some of my stash as well. I keep thinking it will be something to do in my old age but at 68 I'm still way behind.

    Hi, Jerry (@Metropolitantrout ),

That little #3 is a stunner, indeed, and one I've long wanted to add to my stove collection. The fact that it came from Chamonix, France, makes yours even more special!! As an aside, Chamonix, is one of my Mom-in-laws most favorite places to visit! Last time we worked in France, I was really hoping to find a few stove gems. But, alas, none were to be found, sad to say. Thanks for sharing your French Find. The photos are great, and the stove is wonderful! Take care, and God Bless!

    Every Good Wish,
    Doc
