Kennedy Meadows and that area would be pretty popular.

I might be interested if it isn't too far north. I already do a Tahoe Nat'l Forest campout every summer with Duane and Andy and others from the CCF. An 8-9 hour each way twice in July would be a stretch for me. I just did Mid-Hills last month and it was into the 20's at night...is it any different in July? O:)

Since Doc and Sweetbride are hopelessly tied up this summer. The Flivvers are thinking of camping at Mid Hills in mid Sept. Anyone interested? Mike...

Hi all; We will be at Mid Hills from Sept.12-16. Temps that time of year are normally high 70's during the day and 50's at night, but any thing can happen. Mike...

Hi All! Just saw this thread. Was there ever any resolution on date and locale? I’d love to join you all. I’m in Southern California but willing to travel.

I'm still thinking Mike, could make a stretched out trip, but once I get rolling, get out of my way. No other trip planned, so could exercise the truck. My friends have talked about a long backpacking trip, but did that last year too.

    Howdy, Flivver, and All!

We have just returned from our 4,830 mile work trip, and are currently getting ready for the rest of our Summer jobs. I very happy to see that you have picked up the "Coleman Fuel", Mike and are planning a camp in September!! Sweet Bride and I will be unable to attend, due to work demands, BUT, if I can catch up on my inventory manufacturing jobs, I "might" be able to come out with a small camp, and spend a few days with you all. I won't know until I see how many orders come in, and thus, how much I have to make!! One way, or another, we WILL have some time for an event, and right now, that looks like it would be around October 24-28. Don't know where it would be, but at that time of year, Mid-hills would be a good bet. That's about all that would work for us, this year, with work, and the family holidays that happen after September. I know that most of you will have already camped at Mid-hills in September, and so we very well might be camping all by ourselves. If it turns out that way, it still beats not camping at all! We like such camps, though, and will happily take that over nothing, anytime!! Funny how things work out, isn't it?!?! Take care, and God Bless!

    Every Good Wish,
    Doc and Sweet Bride

Looking forward to meeting you. bring whatever. We do a haphazard show and tell and most folks bring something to fettle. Yes it is in the Mojave preserve off the Essex Rd. past Hole in the Wall campground at about 6,000ft. Space 19 if I remember. Mike...
