Coleman #2 camp stove

    so a buddy is over that I am helping him with his dads lantern and he is looking at my stoves and tells me he found something similar near his grand dads on a junk pile, its in the truck he says, bring it in. OH MY I can tell its an early #2 by the lid latches. What a rusty old hulk

    with some oil and carefull twisting the lid started to open, burner key and chain fell out. Good sign

    well its complete except for the oven rack, no mice,has later #2 burners. So far NOT FOR SALE but I hope he changes his mind

    That was pretty scary! It was almost like an episode of 'Tales of the Crypt'. Did the lid creak when you opened it? :)

    Looks like it will still work and doesn't look toooooo bad.

    yea it creaked all right, we were carefull not to break anything, also has a nice coat of brushed on green paint

    I already have a #2 that I restored but would love to get my hands on this 1. What part of Canada are you in?
