Christmas 2019 from my boys. 06/19 stamped case with a 02/19 stamped tank. Love the crinkle deep green finish. Only thing that perhaps could be better thought out is that the grate rests on the casing paintwork. Mine is already showing worn paint, more than likely friction caused by shipping.
Has an identity crisis though, outer box refers to it as a "3000003648" (who came up with that???), inner box simply a Guide Series stove, no mention of 424. Instruction book though (perhaps printed 20 years ago?) refers to usual numbering, including referencing electronic ignition versions (that would be cool.)
Stove itself has the "Dual Fuel Campstove 424" sticker, front left.
Tucked away bottom right of back of inner box is the "5 Year Guarantee" stamp...surely thought that would have been emblazoned on the cover?
    Anyways, I'm hooked ! :D/

Many years of great camping ahead with that beauty!

Your boys know what they're about....

Remember- white gas/shellite; forget pump petrol whatever it says.

    Excellent!

Shellite for fuel. As Ed says, don’t use any pump petrol.

    Cheers

Future family heirloom! Funny how a lot of my memories of camping is of me pumping up the family Coleman 413g so mom could cook us our meals.
