Just some pics of our gold Coleman stove. It's been in the family since new and we still use it. All original as far as I know, except for the pump. Just looking for any info you guys might have. I always wondered why it was gold instead of green and just finally did some web searching today. Looks like it was part of the Gold Bond stamp promotion. I'm guessing it's pretty rare, I can't find much info on them.

Nice that your Gold Bond stove has its family history behind it. There are Gold Bond 220 and 228 lanterns plus a catalytic heater to go along with the stove. All from the Gold Bond trading stamp program from the early 70's. They do sell quite well on eBay when in very good to new condition.

It's far from nice/new condition but still very functional. My mom gave it to me when I moved out about 13 years ago. I would love to clean it up but am afraid more paint would come off. LOL
