First time on this so bear with me. Just came across a Coleman 500 camp stove. My research indicates that it a 1940 model (A 40). After checking things out on it looks like it won't take much to make it operational. Questions I have are these. Where is best place to find replacement parts, and what is its value. I can post pictures, but don't have any at this time.

Go to Old Coleman Parts for anything you need.

If it's like most 500 stoves, it wont need anything!

Like he said Old Coleman Parts. You'll need a fuel cap gasket and maybe a pump leather. Take the pump out and check the leather. soak in some light machine oil if it looks intact. For values you might check sold auctions on ebay. One of the two best Coleman single burners made.

Bill is correct, these all need a fill cap gasket. If you want to see just pump it up and piss some soapy water around fill cap and watch it bubble.
Like any pressure appliance, ANY leak is too much.
