    Nice little stove that cleaned up well. Repainted mixer tube and general cleanup. Starts quickly and settles down to a good flame after about 20 seconds. Great for picnics and travelling. Got it from a second hand shop for less than a train fare, so very happy with it.

    Mixer tube cleaned up well and silver paint seemed to work. Used a small amount too in a few spots in the bowl after removing a little light rust.

    One of the two best Coleman single burners made, the other being the 500/500a

    Favorites of mine,,, I’ve had a bunch of 502’s,,, even gave one to each of my male family members, (none of them have ever used theirs)... Great stoves...
