    Very nice. I have not seen that hinged steel case before, it must be less common than the aluminum pans.

    Hi phantom_slobode,

    Very nice 523 you got there. Any idea what year the stove was made? Late '40s or '50s? I'm just curious. I have a couple of those that I've got on the fettle schedule for 2012, I think. And yes, that case is very interesting as itchy has pointed out. Any chance we could see the outside of the case?

    The metal casing heavy duty is heavier than stove, will put some more pics, I am not sure about year.
