    Nice stove,,,

    There were 3 versions of that stove: the earliest with a brown tank, and external leg locking brackets, the second had a gold tank, again, with external leg locking brackets, and the third had a gold tank with internal leg locking brackets... I have the first and third versions,,, the 2nd has evaded me these last many years...

    How do you know 1953? I did not think dates were known on the 425.

    The 425NL dates from '48 to '53. Brown painted tank or bronze lacquer tank.

    Very good condition, nice example. I have Mom and Dads 425 which I believe they bought new. Gold tank with internal leg locks. Posted a few entries back. Daryl
