    Well done. So far ( on my 421C ), I cannot see any sign that the VHT paint will leave the my burners anytime soon. After shutdown it still looks like I just painted it. Impressive stuff.

    Sam, My compliments on a spectacular fettle! I might worry about a braze letting loose in a burner pan but a weld should be good to go!

    Thanks all, for the nice comments. It's a runner!


    As for the VHT paint. I can't complain at all. It's been through two firings and is doing well, no chipping or burning off. It's turned a little darker but holding. The ceramic is truly ceramic. I also made sure I had three coats of paint on so that it baked on nice and thick.

    Gotta run, have a No. 2 tank and pump to reassemble.
