Peak 1 Apex stove with Coleman Apex fuel bottle. These pumps had a problem with cracks, this one is no different but this one dose not leak. Used it last week. The crack has been there about ten years. Not a fan of detached fuel bottle stoves. This type simmers very well. Have read a lot have been converted to use small canister fuel. Stay safe sunny SoCal

Was the fuel bottle compatible with Sigg and MSR bottles, or a proprietary size?

I have the propane version. It is exactly the same but, instead of the gasoline bottle, it uses a small US Coleman propane cyclinder. By the way, those cyclinders are also available in some European countries.

Apex bottles are propriety size, the neck opening is a tad larger diameter and cap has fine threads. Other dark red coleman bottles have the larger neck diameter and fine threads also, they look like this 100_5751.JPG 100_5758.JPG 100_5770.JPG . Stay safe
