Just tried it, see how well preserved it is. Well here are the results, started straight away with a flame with some yellow tips ( due to impuratives in burner, 60 year old dust ) . I didnt even clean the jet beforehand ! Real glad
Hi @Paulus did you leave the stove running till the yellow tips of the flame settle down to a full atmospheric blue flame, in most cases yellow tips on the flame usually indicates that the jet orifice has become enlarged and is burning fuel rich
I left it burning for a while and the flames were burning better at time but still some yellow. I turned it off because of leaks at the base of the riser. Must I or can I use a lead washer at the base ? There was no washer/seal when I examined it. Cheers
