Bought this Veritas pint stove at a charity shop yesterday and thought I would try and fire it up today . On closing the valve and pumping hey presto it fired up but the problem is the blue flame is only visible on about 25% of the spreader
Any ideas on why it's not all the way around the spreader.
who ever had it previous had tried to clean it but obviously gave up.
Any idea of age would be appreciated.
    thanks in advance

If cleaning the jet doesn't work check that the nipple is installed properly and not at an angle.

You can also dimple the exit side of the nipple with a small drill bit, any burr on the exit side or within the nipple will distort the vapor. Carbon build up on the bottom side of the burner.
